Opened Mar 15, 2024 at 176 Spring Street in SoHo, the space Stüssy and Union held before it, which has been framed as a passing of the torch. Denim Tears opened their first flagship store, designed with Theaster Gates.
It doubles as a research library holding 1,500-plus books, catalogues and periodicals on the visual and performative cultures of Sub-Saharan Africa, curated by Lee and Whitney Kaplan of Arcana: Books on the Arts from a collection built over four decades.
